Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Cook Noodles: Add egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 6 minutes. Drain well and set aside.

03

Step

Brown Beef: Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until browned and crumbly, about 8 minutes. Remove beef with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

04

Step

Create Sauce: Reduce heat to medium-low. Add chicken broth, condensed cream of chicken soup, cubed cheese, sour cream, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet with the beef drippings. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth and well combined, about 5-7 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

05

Step

Combine: Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cooked egg noodles and browned ground beef into the cheesy sauce. Cook, stirring gently, until everything is heated through and evenly coated, about 3-5 minutes.

06

Step

Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy!

For a richer flavor, try using a combination of ground beef and ground pork.
Feel free to experiment with different herbs. Parsley, oregano, or chives would also be delicious.
If you don't have fresh herbs, you can substitute with dried herbs. Use about 1/4 teaspoon of each.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley or chives before serving for a pop of color.
