Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs. Beat with a spoon for approximately 50 strokes until well combined. Pour into the prepared baking dish. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, about 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool until just warm. (30 minutes)

04

Step

Spread marshmallow creme evenly over the warm brownie layer. (5 minutes)

05

Step

In a large saucepan, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and fully combined. (10 minutes)

06

Step

Stir in crispy rice cereal until completely coated with the chocolate-peanut butter mixture. Spread this mixture evenly over the marshmallow creme layer, pressing lightly to ensure it fills all voids. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Refrigerate until the bars are set and firm, approximately 20 to 30 minutes. (30 minutes)

08

Step

Cut into 24 bars and serve. (5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate.
To prevent the chocolate from scorching, use a double boiler or heat in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring in between.
Ensure the brownie layer is only just warm to prevent the marshmallow creme from melting excessively.
For cleaner cuts, use a warm knife when slicing the refrigerated bars.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
