For best results, chill both the cookie dough and brownie batter thoroughly before assembling the hamentashen. This will prevent the filling from spreading too much during baking. If the brownie batter is still too soft after chilling, you can add a tablespoon or two of flour to it to thicken it up. Be sure to pinch the corners of the hamentashen firmly to prevent them from opening up during baking. For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate brownie mix. These hamentashen can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
