Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, submarine dressing, and mustard until smooth. Add red onion, pepperoncini, basil, oregano, and black pepper; toss to combine. Gently fold in the lettuce. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed; set aside. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

03

Step

Without separating the rolls, use a serrated knife to slice the entire pack in half horizontally. Place both halves, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the cut surfaces generously with olive oil. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

04

Step

Layer the ham, followed by prosciutto, onto the roll bottoms. Distribute salami and pepperoni evenly over the roll tops. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. (Cook time: 5 minutes)

05

Step

Remove from the oven and arrange provolone slices over the prosciutto on the bottom half. Sprinkle torn mozzarella over the pepperoni on the top half. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 10 minutes. (Cook time: 10 minutes)

06

Step

Transfer both halves to a cutting board. Generously spoon the prepared salad over the melted provolone. Arrange tomato slices over the salad. Carefully place the roll tops over the bottoms. Slice into individual sliders. Serve warm and enjoy immediately! (Prep time: 5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a drizzle of balsamic glaze after assembling the sliders.
Feel free to customize the meats and cheeses to your liking! Capicola, soppressata, or fontina cheese would all be delicious additions.
To prevent the rolls from becoming soggy, serve immediately after assembling.
